Early in my career I was focused on art and design, but after emerging from designing my first web site having coded a shopping cart, I never looked back. I was officially a hybrid designer/developer.
I see design and development as integral parts of the same whole. Both are tools for solving problems, telling the story, and providing the best possible user experience. The fascinating alchemy of all these moving parts is what keeps me engaged in both the process and the outcome.
Away from the screen, I am a fitness fanatic and dog lover, with a deep attachment to SF, where I live with my husband, explore the local trails, and cruise around on my scooter.
Fun fact: I spent many years in Boston before moving to SF, and worked not far from the Cengage office!
